Morning Funeral has been accepted to play the the Bare Bones International Film Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The festival runs from April 25th to May 1st & is quoted as being “one of the top 25 film festivals worth the entry fee” by Moviemaker Magazine.
This will be the second festival appearance for Morning Funeral after its successful debut at the Appalachian Film Festival last month, so I wish filmmakers AJ & Nick Detisch the best of luck at this screening.
I have a real soft spot for Bare Bones after another movie I wrote the soundtrack for, Chris Watson’s Dead In Love, won the Audience Choice Best Picture award in 2009.
Full screening times & dates will appear on the official festival website here http://www.barebonesfilmfestivals.org/ so keep checking back & make sure to get along there if you can to show your support for indie cinema.
